Opening weekend

Went snowmobiling for the first time this season this past weekend. Bob, Larry and I trailered the sleds from the camp to Norton. Riding was nice, did a quick 80 miles....

Weekend

Went up to VT for the weekend and went to a Sno X race at Burke Mtn on Saturday. It was cool to see. Took my sled out and road the roads for a few miles. 6" of snow on the ground but was vanishing by the time I was leaving on Sunday. Opening day of snowmobile season is Thursday. I will be up on Friday but I doubt I will be riding anything but my 4wheeler to clear trails

I have been battling a cold for the last week or so and that is new to me. Over the last 5-6 years when I get a cold it lasts a day at the most. Also lower back pain, could be a stone:(. Looking forward to turkey day and seeing the family. Going to VT on Friday, maybe snow. Last year this weekend we got 12" of wet stuff...

Off to MGH yesterday to see my PCP for my yearly physical, what fun! Doc says everything looks good. I asked how much more weight I should loose and he says 20lbs. I will do my best to hit that over the next six months.

Up to VT last weekend for a side job to repair a transfer switch for some people down the road. Getting ready for winter up there, sleds all ready to go. Working on moving my mother back to West Concord this weekend. Received a save the date card from the Thibeault's for Kimmy's wedding. Realized last night that this will be the first of our friends kids wedding that we will be going to...Should be a good time....

Selling off all my old 3x snowmobile gear on Ebay. I am amazed what some people will pay for USED gear. For $20 more you could buy new. I just don't get it. Last month I sold a used snowmobile track for $400. I could buy the same one new for $450. I should not complain but I almost feel guilty. I said almost:)

Dam Eel way

At work today had to lower the water in the river to adjust the eel way. Just some small changes to make it so the little critters can make it up stream.

Weekend in VT

Last weekend went to the camp. Had a couple of side jobs to do and finish putting my sled back together. Friday is sure felt like winter. Cold and windy. Buddy kept me company.
